How it works

Clamp. Crank. Done.

Three moves, one person, and the joint stays closed while you work.

Tapping the hook into timber

Clamp

Set one hook on each side of the gap and tap them in. They bite straight into the timber, so there is no anchor point to find.

Beam Puller closing a joint

Crank

Crank the handle with one hand. 3,300 lbs of force closes the joint, and it holds there when you let go.

Installer fastening a floor panel

Done

The joint is tight and both hands are free to drive the screws. Knock the hooks loose with a single strike and move to the next joint.

Carpenters from 25+ countries have already ordered

chucknmario_built Ratchet straps suck, that’s why I bought your beam puller. My wall peevee bent and didn’t make it through one house build, also why I bought the beam puller.

Beam Puller closing a glued joint

Maximum power with minimal effort

With just one hand, you move heavy timber panels and beams with precision and control.

Oversized direction switch on the ratchet

Easy to handle, even with gloves on

The oversized switch changes direction fast, so you never have to stop and take a glove off.

Swapping a hook with a drill bit

Replaceable parts

Hooks and screw plates swap out in a minute, so one worn part never retires the tool.

Faster installations

Panel alignment stops being the slow part of the day.

Better end results

Tight, clean seams with no dents or split edges.

Increased safety

No brute force, less strain and fewer ways to get hurt.

Don’t take our word for it.

Here is what crews say after using it on their own jobs.

hokansoncorey314 I did!

HC

hokansoncorey314 I used them to assemble a project for @smartlam_north_america, their booth at the Mass Timber Conference. They worked beautifully. I’ll be using them on every install now.

These are absolutely critical for a successful install. The screw downs allow us to get all of our seams tight, but also allow for additional bracing while walls are being plumbed. In our experience, you can’t have enough of these on-site, but 4 is a minimum.

andrewmbowler The best tool to have ❤️

Which one do you need?

Same pull, two ways to grab the timber. Most crews end up with both.

One of each.

Hammer Down for speed, Screw Down for delicate panels. Covers every joint on the job.

Clamp, Crank, Done.

Forged, heat-treated hooks tap straight into the timber. No screws, no drilling. Best for framing, post and beam and log homes.

Screw On, Crank, Done.

Screws flat to the panel through 13 mounting holes per bracket. Best for mass timber, CLT and wood that splits.

Built for the jobsite

Designed to be abused.

Forged, hardened and galvanized for years on wet, rough jobsites.

Abuse test

  • 🔨 Hot-forged, heat-treated hooks
Hardened to bite into timber job after job, and serrated on all sides for grip.
  • 🛡️ Galvanized and hardened steel
High-strength steel with an anti-corrosion coating, made for wet sites.
  • 🔩 Smooth trapezoidal thread
A mechanical screw, with no strap to fray and no cable to kink.

Questions crews ask before buying

Why not just use a ratchet strap?

Straps are designed for cargo. They stretch, they spring back and they need anchor points. The Beam Puller pulls with 3,300 lbs from one hand and holds the tension while you fasten.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Orders ship the same or next day and arrive in 2–7 days.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship across the US, Canada and Europe.

What is the difference between a Beam Puller and a Panel Puller?

They are the same tool. Some crews call it a panel puller or wall puller; in Germany it is known as a Balkenzug.

What payment methods do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Diners Club, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

How do I track my order?

Once your order has shipped, you receive a tracking number by email. Use it on the carrier’s tracking page to follow your package.

How do I cancel or change my order?

Contact us as soon as possible. Once an order has been processed or shipped, we may no longer be able to change it.
